Overview of story
Donald has cheated on and abused his girlfriend Kathy and she is out for revenge. Donald and Rex have been arguing about his treatment of Kathy and are witnessed by Reginald making Rex the prime suspect of the murder.

Outline of opening Film Noir sequence
Beginning- Canted angle- Match and action of Donald carrying Kathy over to the bed as they walk through the door, POV shot of Donald throwing Kathy on to the bed, a long shot through the peep hole at Kathy grabbing Donald by the tie and shooting him in the torso. Zooms out from the peephole to show close up of sign on door – 69 Honeymoon Suite, ‘Suite’ melts away and ‘Revenge’ slaps where it was. Title sequence – ‘Honeymoon Revenge’ 

Middle- Bar scene- Shot reverse shot- Reginald talking to Timothy about murder, Cross cut to dead body in bedroom-Various POVs from detective as detectives take pictures of the crime scene, various close ups show bullet wound and blood, as this scene goes on a narrative plays over of the witness speaking (Reginald) who is speaking to the detective (Timothy) Flashing of cameras leads into flashback

End- Flashback- Long POV shot- Witness walks past alleyway and overhears Donald and Rex arguing about Donald’s mistreatment of Kathy, Rex storms off and bumps into Reginald  

Synopsis
‘Kathy’ is newly wed wife forced into marriage by her cheating, abusive husband Donald. She longs to escape the relationship that controls her.

One day she finally decides to free herself from the oppressive Donald and on the day of her honeymoon does the unthinkable and shoots Donald and leaves his body in the bed of their suite.

When the detective comes to talk to the witness it is discovered that Donald was abusive and cheating and that Kathy had a motive.

Location- Hartlepool, Liam’s house (Blackhall)

Sequence running time- 2-3 minutes

Costumes
Kathy will be wearing a white dress and red lipstick as it is conventional of a femme fatale.

Donald will be wearing a suit and tie and be smartly dressed.

Larry will be wearing a shirt and an apron, as he is a bartender.

The detectives will all be wearing suits and fedoras.

Rex will wear a trench coat, shirt and trousers.

Locations
We would like to have a lot of shots in alleyways. We also would like to have it in a bar and in a bedroom.
